Nib appearance size detection solution

Detection requirements: Measuring the dimension of the shape wheel gallery of the nib ball.

Nib refers to the carbon nib, oil nib and so on that we often use. For example, the size of the nib ball is bad or large or small, as well as the wrapping defects such as crushing, touching and deformation, which will affect the launching of the nib, and lead to the inability to write or write in writing.

Detection requirements: Measuring the contour size of the ball bearing tip (accuracy ±0.01mm).

Difficulties of the project: The high reflection of the nib ball can not accurately extract the boundary, and there is a 2mm drop between the ball and the edge of the envelope. You can't have a 2mm depth of field in a small field and focus the top and edge of the ball at the same time.

Solution: Using TML20150 telocentric lens, backlight and 0 degree ambient light can effectively avoid reflective interference, and increase the depth of field from 2*3mm field of view to 2mm.
